Tracking performance and clearly demonstrating impact has never been more critical. For local governments facing funding cuts, alongside state-level government efficiency programs, performance measurement helps to ensure that the value of your services is maximized, visible, and understood.

During this session, guest speaker David Swindell, Director of the Center for Urban Innovation at Arizona State University, provides an overview of the importance of performance measurement, where local governments commonly get stuck in the process, and the urgency needed for effective performance measurement in 2025 and beyond.

Envisio’s performance measurement coaching team walks through our process for developing performance measures for different services areas. This methodology has been used by hundreds of public sector agencies to create performance measures that tell the story of their work and the outcomes that their residents and boards want to achieve.

Guest speaker Alex Mercado explains how the City of Corona, CA puts the theory into practice. Get new ideas on how to use performance measurement to show impact and make data-informed decisions.
