Sales Development Representative
Vancouver, BC

Envisio is looking for a bright, creative and professional Sales Development Representative to join our team and help grow our pipeline. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for booking qualified meetings for the sales team through targeted, outbound email and cold call campaigns and inbound lead development from webinars, conferences and other events. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in software sales in a fast-growing Vancouver technology business.

You’ll need to be a self-starter with a passion for driving results but you won’t be working alone. You’ll be supported by a close-knit, highly collaborative sales and marketing team that wants you to be successful.

The Role

  1. Contact prospective customers in the government and education sectors to introduce Envisio and book discovery meetings for our sales team
  2. Follow up on inbound leads in order to qualify and develop leads into meetings
  3. Respond to web chat enquiries
  4. Work with the marketing team to develop and test new messaging ideas for outbound email campaigns
  5. When needed, proactively find new contacts (via websites, LinkedIn and other tools) to add to our CRM system for outbound campaigns
  6. Maintain up to date CRM records
  7. Build software proof of concepts for our sales team

Account Executive

Envisio is looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our sales team to drive new revenue through new customer acquisition. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with senior leaders of government and educational agencies across North America. The Role

  • Ownership of the entire sales cycle from prospecting to deal closing

  • Foster meaningful relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers

  • Identify customer needs and educate customers on the value of Envisio

  • Deliver value-oriented software demonstrations for senior leaders

  • Collaborate with Envisio teammates to build and demonstrate proof of concepts

  • Initiative, negotiate and close new contracts with customers

  • Serve as the voice of the market and collect feedback to drive continuous product improvement

  • Some travel required

Keys for Success

  • Curiosity, ability to quickly develop thorough knowledge of company products and client verticals including local government, special districts, non-profits, higher education, and school districts

  • Relevant sales experience in SaaS, B2B, government, business intelligence, data analytics, strategic planning and performance management

  • 3+ years of experience selling technology (preferably SaaS) with proven results

  • Self-motivated, creative, results-driven, solution-oriented, direct and convincing when it’s right for the customer

  • Ability to remain focused and flexible during rapid change

  • Experience running a pipeline and accurately forecasting revenue

  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities at a time at various stages of the buying process

  • Consistent track record of navigating within large and mid-market organizations

  • Experience with sales enablement tools such as Salesforce and Outreach

Intermediate Frontend Developer

About You:

We are looking for a talented, creative and team-oriented intermediate level Front-End Developer who has a desire to make modern and intuitive UI for our web-based applications. Your primary focus will be working with other developers to enhance our existing modules. You will be mentored and guided to build robust rich front-end UI that is being used by our customers on a daily basis. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, elegant and extensible design, and quality products is imperative.

You are someone who has worked with front end Javascript development frameworks and seeking to dive deeper.

We expect you to be able to:

  • Write clean Javascript code
  • Build rich client-side applications using ReactJS
  • Handle client-server interactions using REST and Apollo GraphQL client
  • Style client-side applications using in house existing UI libraries

It would be NICE if you have experience with (or eager to learn):

  • UI/UI design
  • BEM and Atomic CSS
  • Ruby on Rails
  • Heroku PaaS setup and deployment
