Sales Development Representative

Envisio is looking for a bright, creative and professional Sales Development Representative to join our team to help grow our sales pipeline. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for booking qualified meetings for the sales team through targeted outbound email and cold call campaigns and inbound lead development from webinars, conferences and other events. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in software sales in a fast-growing Vancouver technology company.

You’ll need to be a self-starter with a passion for driving results but you won’t be working alone. You’ll be supported by a close-knit, highly collaborative sales and marketing team that wants you to be successful.

The role:

  • Contact prospective customers in the government and education sectors to introduce Envisio and book discovery meetings for our sales team
  • Follow up on inbound leads in order to qualify and develop leads into meetings
  • Respond to web chat inquiries
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and test new messaging ideas for outbound email campaigns
  • When needed, proactively find new contacts (via websites, LinkedIn and other tools) to add to our CRM system for outbound campaigns
  • Maintain up to date CRM records
  • Build software proof of concepts for our sales team

Your skills & experience:

Senior Account Executive

Envisio is looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, with a proven track record, to join our sales team and drive new customer acquisition. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for building relationships with senior leaders of mid to large government and education agencies across North America. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in enterprise software sales in a fast-growing Vancouver-based technology business.

The role:

  • Ownership of the entire sales cycle from initial discovery to deal closing
  • Foster value-driven relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers
  • Identify customer pain and educate customers on the Envisio value proposition to solve that pain
  • Deliver value-oriented software demonstrations for senior leadership teams
  • Collaborate with Envisio teammates to build and demonstrate proof of concepts
  • Initiate, negotiate and close new contracts with customers
  • Light travel required (when restrictions are removed)

Your skills and experience:

  • 7+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Experience selling enterprise software solutions to mid-market and large organizations in a B2B or B2G environment
  • Working knowledge of sales process and methodology – preferably Sandler Sales.
  • Ability to quickly develop knowledge of company products and market verticals including local government, special districts, non-profits, higher education and school districts
  • Ability to remain focused and flexible during rapid change
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and accurately forecasting revenue
  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple opportunities at various stages of the buying process
  • Experience with sales enablement tools such as Salesforce and Outreach
  • A passion for local government and helping cities to build thriving communities

Customer Success Manager

About the role

We seek an experienced Customer Success Manager (think of it as a customer goal coach) with a deep understanding of supporting customers in a Software as a Service environment. Our customers are leadership teams in publicly funded / publicly accountable organizations (local governments, school districts etc.)

Key responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful relationships with Envisio’s customers through engaging emails, phone calls, and in-person meetings
  • Partner with Implementation Consultants to ensure a seamless transition from our Implementation to Post Implementation Stages
  • Partner with customers to develop meaningful plans that feed their long term goals
  • Develop creative strategies to increase customer engagement, drive growth and, reduce churn
  • Manage key metrics that feed into team based goals around retention, growth, and adoption
  • Measure and action on engagement data through customer metrics and regular business reviews
  • Work with the Product Teams to champion customer insights and stories
  • Share Customer Success stories through case studies, blog posts, and internal communication

Key performance measures

  1. Quarterly and annual gross customer revenue retention
  2. Software adoption and customer satisfaction/health

About you
