Shauna Simpson, School Improvement Coordinator, Cree School Board

Shauna Simpson is a member of the Department of School Operations for the Cree School Board. Comprising 11 schools in nine communities, this First Nations Board delivers a curriculum that blends Quebec Ministry standards with traditional Cree knowledge. In her role as Coordinator of School Improvement, Shauna helps school administrators implement and monitor their Local School Improvement Plans (LSIPs) in an effort to drive student success. Previously, Shauna worked in education for 15 years.

Shawn Iserhoff, Coordinator of Strategic Planning & Projects, Cree School Board

Shawn Iserhoff has been with the Cree School Board as the Coordinator of Strategic Planning and Projects since 2016. Through the Office of the Director General, he coordinates the development, implementation and monitoring of the Strategic Action Plan. Furthermore, he fulfills the role of project lead for various initiatives at the board. Shawn's passion in serving the youth has been at the forefront throughout his career, also holding the positions of Youth Chief and Councillor to the Cree Nation of Mistissini.

Kevin Knutson, Envisio Solutions

As VP of Planning & Performance Solutions, Kevin Knutson works with over 80 local government agencies to support their strategic planning and performance management success with Envisio. He is recognized as a national expert in local government management consulting and has more than 20 years of experience in local government, including strategic planning, budgeting, performance measurement and community relations. He has served as Interim City Manager and Assistant City Manager in Reno, Nevada, and as Budget and Strategic Planning Manager in Coral Springs, Florida.
