Mike Funk, City of Maplewood, MN

Mike Funk was appointed Assistant City Manager/HR Director in February 2015. He has more than 22 years of city administration experience having worked in suburban and rural communities. Since joining Maplewood, his focus is to create a high performing organizational culture through strategic planning, performance measurement, and continuous improvement. Previously, he served as City Administrator for Minnetrista, MN; Olivia, MN; and Gibbon, NE. He is a Credentialed Manager recognized by the International City/County Management Association.

Lois Knutson, City of Maplewood, MN

Lois began working for the Public Works Department in the City of Maplewood over 14 years ago. She spent 10 years in Public Works before transitioning to a position with the City Manager’s office. During her time with the City she has worked collaboratively with other departments. This has given her the experience and a knowledge base that play an integral part in her current role coordinating the city’s Strategic Plan.

Kevin Knutson, Envisio Solutions

As VP of Customer Success, Kevin Knutson works with over 80 local government agencies to support their strategic planning and performance management success with Envisio. He is recognized as a national expert in local government management consulting and has more than 20 years of experience in local government, including strategic planning, budgeting, performance measurement and community relations. He has served as Interim City Manager and Assistant City Manager in Reno, Nevada, and as Budget and Strategic Planning Manager in Coral Springs, Florida.
