VP, Marketing & Research
Liz Steward serves as Vice President of Marketing and Research at Envisio, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in B2B technology and govtech. Based in Vancouver, she has led marketing, growth, and go-to-market strategies across technology firms in both the United Kingdom and Canada, including senior roles at companies such as Dun & Bradstreet and several technology startups.
At Envisio, Elizabeth oversees the company’s global marketing and research functions, directing content, outreach, and thought leadership efforts designed for public sector organizations. Under her leadership, Envisio has expanded its reach within local governments, education, nonprofit, and healthcare sectors while advocating for greater transparency, strong performance measurement, and trusted public sector governance.
Elizabeth is the founder and lead curator of Envisio’s Inspirational Women in Local Government series, a program that highlights female leaders across municipal and county governments and elevates voices that are often underrepresented in public sector leadership. Her writing on gender, governance, and public sector innovation has appeared in respected industry publications.
She holds an LLB in Law from the University of Bristol. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys hiking, skiing, international travel, and has a well-known soft spot for micro pigs. Her work reflects a commitment to bridging technology and public sector needs and to helping governments and institutions plan strategically, measure performance, and strengthen public trust through transparent, data informed leadership.
